Styling Your Gerbera Daisies

Friday, January 19, 2018

It’s our favorite time of the month here at BloomsyBox – delivery week! By now, most of you have received that bright red box of happy mail waiting for you on your doorstep. Inside, we’ve carefully packaged stunning stems of cheerful, bright gerberas. These blooms are the perfect pick-me-up for those mid-winter blues, and while they look good just about any way you arrange them, we decided to share a few of our favorite ways to style gerbera daisies.

1. On the table Use our trusty spiraling method to create a dome-shaped centerpiece from your delivery! The colors of the gerbera daisies grouped together make it almost impossible not to be happy when you see them. This classic arrangement helps to bring some sunshine to the dinner table, no matter what Mother Nature decides to do outdoors! Head here to learn how to spiral your gerbera stems.

2. In a bud vase Gerbera daisies have big, bold blooms that make their presence known! Keep it simple by displaying a single stem in a bud vase. This works especially well as your gerberas’ vase life begins to near the end. Cutting the stem helps to rehydrate the flower and keep it fresher longer! Arrange your bud vase in a modern vignette for the coffee table, place it near the kitchen sink to brighten up your daily chores, or leave it on the nightstand for a welcoming wake-up each morning.

3. Long and lean One of our favorite parts about gerbera daisies is the fact that their tubular stems make arranging possibilities almost endless! Here, we displayed two blooms in one vintage glass vase, staggering their heights to add some extra interest. The simple nature of the arrangement lends itself to fit just about any decor style. Place the vase on a bar cart for entertaining, on a shelf as a natural accessory, or anywhere you could use a little pop of color!

And there you have it! One bouquet, three ways. Save this post for future styling and be sure to check back here next month for inspiration on how to style your February BloomsyBox!
