Whether it be participating in online whiteboard sessions with your co-workers, staying in top of distance learning sessions with your kids, or toasting with friends during virtual happy hours, around the world we are all in this together.

A mother sits on a couch cuddling her two young children, a toddler and a baby, as they look at a tablet together in a cozy, well-lit living room.

For occasions like Mother’s Day, more than ever we wish that we could take our mothers out to brunch, invite them over to dinner, whisk them off to the spa, or just give them a hug. But just because you cannot be there in person, you can still celebrate from anywhere!

Of course, A no-brainer is sending Mom a thoughtful and unique gift—ahem, like our flower subscription boxes but there are all kinds of other ways you can show the Moms and Grandmas in your life how much you care about them.

Even if Mom isn’t the most tech-savvy, there are so many ways now to not only communicate virtually, but engage in all kinds of fun activities together as well.

Zoom, Google Hangouts, Facebook, Skype, and FaceTime are some of the most popular platforms being used today by companies, schools and people around the world wanting to see the faces of those they care about.

  • Participating in hobbies, like knitting, or flower arranging together
  • Sending Mom a photo book in the mail and going over family photos together

The grandkids can get in on the fun; Children can create cards and poems and read them to Grandma.

In addition to gifts, there are a few other things you can do for Mom from far away.

  • Order Mom delivery from her favorite neighborhood restaurant
  • Arrange a grocery delivery with her favorite foods, wine and ice cream
  • Find shared favorite treats, like Key Lime Pies, that can be delivered to her door

It’s never been more important to show Mom how much you love and appreciate her. More than ever, Moms around the globe are having to multi-task like never before. Show the superhero Mom in your life how much you care ASAP we promise it will make her day!
